Star Wars Racer Revenge Will Be Remastered and Released Later This Year

Could this be real? According to a Reddit user, one of the most iconic Star Wars games of the year 2000s Star Wars Racer Revenge Remastered will be coming soon. Star Wars Racer Revenge, which launched on the PlayStation 2 in 2002, is reportedly being remastered for modern platforms and will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year, according to a Reddit user.

The user also notes that the Star Wars Racer Revenge remaster will be similar to Destroy All Humans! and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and it will be made available on all current systems, including the Nintendo Switch. The studio behind the remaster has worked on Star Wars projects before, but this will be their first remaster of this kind. It should be reminded that nothing has been publicly announced and this is only a rumor.

According to the Reddit post, the user stated, “

Everything you need to know about Star Wars Racer Revenge

There are a total of 22 pilots throughout the game’s 13 courses. The ability to take out other pilots has improved over the previous game, among other improvements. In this game, there are five additional secret characters. The PlayStation 2 version of the game launched for the first time on February 13, 2002. Thirteen years later, on April 28, 2015, for the PlayStation 3 and November 17, 2015, for the PlayStation 4, it was made playable on the PlayStation Network.

Seven new pod racers from Racer Revenge that weren’t in the first game are Knire Dark, Shrivel Braittrand, Occo Ninebar, Kraid Nemmeso, Wan Sandage Jr., “Scorch” Zanales, and Tzidik Wrantojo. Racer Revenge removed a few pod racers from The Phantom Menace. These pod racers are Boles Roor, Neva Kee, Ark “Bumpy” Roose, Ebe Endocott, Ratts Tyerell, and Neva Kee. Numerous screenshots of the game’s early iterations included Neva Kee. Tatooine is the sole world included in both games and none of the hidden characters from Star Wars: Episode I Racer are present. The new characters from Episode I Racer, including Slide Paramita, Fud Sang, Toy Dampner, Bozzie Baranta, and Navior, are also absent, however, Fud Sang’s flag does show up on a few circuits.

Nobody would have expected a Star Wars racing game to be that difficult among all racing games. One of the finest scenes from The Phantom Menace is turned into a whole game in Star Wars: Episode I – Racer, and much like in the movie, pod-racing is a dangerous sport that calls for quick reactions.

The player will probably lose the race if they take the wrong turn. Even the toughest racers available can be quickly eliminated, and the AI players never give up.

So I and all the other Star Wars fans will be hoping that this news turns out to be true and soon we can expect an official announcement. Till then make sure to check out our other articles to get tips tricks and other insights about different games. Till then I hope “The force will be with you”
