Get a Successful GunButt kill in Call of Duty Warzone

If you’re a fan of the Call of Duty franchise, then you know that each installment is packed with intense, heart-pounding action. And that’s what makes Call of Duty Warzone so unique. With Call of Duty Warzone, you’re essentially stepping into the shoes of a Black Ops soldier. And your mission is simple, annihilate as many enemies as you can! If you’re looking for a fun new game to add to your collection, look no further than Call of Duty Warzone.

While there are some similarities between this game and the traditional Call of Duty games, there are also some major differences. For example, you don’t have a character that you can level up. Instead, your character is boosted through various rewards, including damage boosts and weapon unlocks. Once you earn enough rewards, you can upgrade your character’s armor and weapons so they can withstand more powerful attacks. There’s even an opportunity to join one of a number of different battle arenas called “Warzones.” Once you’ve joined a Warzone, you can earn additional rewards for your in-game characters by participating in matches and taking out your enemies.

What is a GunButt kill?

However, once you took a deep dive into the game you’ll find a cool creative way to take down an enemy. It is even fun to see your opponent shocked and furious once you take them down. Sometimes just shooting your enemy from distance and even clutching a headshot seems normie. To spice things up, one of the things that I and most of the other players enjoy is a “Gun Butt Kill.”

If you don’t know what a gun butt kill is,  “Gun butt” kills include bashing the opponent with the butt of a firearm. In prior Call of Duty games, melee options such as a knife attack were available. The gun butt attack in Warzone changes based on whatever weapon is presently wielded. Two gun butts should be enough to kill an opponent who lacks an armor plate. There are a few techniques to aid gamers who are struggling to achieve gun-butt kills. In easy words, it is melee kill with a gun.

It is quite fun because the enemy is unaware of the swift attacks that are coming and it takes at least two hits to take them down. And trust me it’s really frustrating. Even the game offers a few rewards if you manage to get some successful gun butt kills. One of the rewards is a CR-56 AMAX assault rifle. In order to get the gun you must accomplish three gun butt kills while utilizing an Assault Rifle in ten separate matches. Gun butt kills are also required in several Camo challenges.

But wait, it is not easy as it sounds. Getting a gun butt kill is fun but at the same time very challenging. While loads and loads of bullets are being fired upon you, landing two successful gun butts requires a lot of speed and precision. A single mistake and you are done. But don’t worry we are here to help.

First, you have to get super close to your enemy. Then it’s all about the speed of your melee weapon, in this case, the assault rifle or other gun you are holding. To increase the speed and mobility of the gun, here are a few tips.

  • Control/button access: It may seem insignificant, but mapping the melee attack to a quick and easy-to-remember hotkey or button can aid with response time when the opportunity to utilize a gunbutt assault occurs. You have to be super fast with the buttons.
  • Weapon Mobility: To get a gun butt kills in Warzone, players must be nimble on their feet and capable of closing the distance quickly. Choosing a weapon with a high mobility rating ensures that a bulky weapon does not prevent players from closing the distance. Cause remember bullets are faster than man.
  • Attachments for Mobility: Certain attachments to weapons will display a “+ Movement Speed” tooltip when equipped when in the Gunsmith menu. These will increase the mobility currently given by the lightweight weapon and make player operators even quicker. In this case fast and reflexive wins the race.
  • Melee Perks: Perks like Fast Melee and Heavy Hitter can give some marginal gain while employing gun butt attacks, but they are rarely required and are better served by perks like Ghost and Tracker, which keep players below the radar and capable of tracking targets. Moving rapidly is critical to success, thus “Double Time” is an excellent perk supplement.
  • If they’re down, they still count: Don’t be concerned if an opponent gets shot down in Warzone and is crawling. They can be slain with gun butt assaults and the challenges will still count. If melee isn’t cutting it, or if targets are strongly armored, shoot them down into a bleed-out state first. This is one of the easiest ways to get a gun butt kill, you can try it too if you are failing often.
